About the Event
Don't be afraid of orange! Just because you had one once that tasted like scrumpy cider, that doesn't mean they all do.
Orange wines, sometimes referred to as amber wines, are a captivating category within the world of wine. These wines are made using white grape varieties but are crafted with extended skin contact, resulting in a rich and textured profile. With their distinct hues ranging from golden to deep amber, orange wines offer a unique experience that combines the freshness of white wines with the complexity and structure often associated with red wines.
With no hard rules, orange wines lend to a huge spectrum of flavours and aromas, just like white and red wines. We've picked out our favourites that showcase this range of flavours. There is bound to be one you love and one you hate. ;-)
