Did you know there are 6,000+ varieties of grapes that  belong to Vitis vinifera, the grape species that we make wine from. But we have become a world of homogenization. A mere 13 grapes constitute over one-third of the global vineyard space, and 33 make up more than half of all vineyard space.

But trends change, thank goodness, and slowly a resurgence in local grape varieties is happening. So join us for a night tasting through wines with graped you most likely have never heard of!

Now onto the wines!

As always, I won't give the specific wines away, but I will tell you we will be tasting five different wines, from different regions, and different grapes. Super specific, huh? :-)
